形態特徵

• Perennial herbs; stems repent or ascending, with 5 or more longitudinal canals.
• Leaves membranaceous, sparsely hirsute above, glabrous beneath, asymmetrically elliptic to lanceolate-oblong, usually 5-14.5 cm long, 2.5-5.5 cm wide, basiscopic half semi cordate, margins minutely ciliolate, serrulate to coarsely serrate, apex with a nearly entire, 5-15 mm long acumen; stipules 2, 1-nerved, lanceolate, 5-7 mm long, ca. 2 mm wide.
• Female inflorescences subquadrate; bracts slightly puberulent, connate into a narrowly oblong or lanceolate involucre. Female flowers short pedicellate; bracteoles narrowly lanceolate; sepals 3 or 4, linear-acicular; staminodes 3 or 4; ovary ovoid.
• Achenes inconspicuously 5- or 6-ribbed, ovoid.

Flowering September to November.

分布

• 台灣 : at medium altitudes only in the Rarashan area; mostly in moist ravines.
